Supported Living Program
The Arc of Wabash County's Supported Living Program addresses the desires, goals, strengths, abilities, needs, health, safety, and life span issues of people living in their own homes with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Living Skills
Individuals are supported with doing household chores, personal hygiene, medications and medical appointments, and preparing meals. The Arc provides transportation to and from employment and outings. Individuals explore the community for shopping and entertainment with their supported staff member.
The Arc of Wabash County presently owns four residential homes and supports three apartments. There are sixteen individuals being supported in our residential program.
The residential homes are disability friendly, spacious, and provide their own outdoor spaces to enjoy.
The Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) waiver through the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration provides services that enable individuals to remain in their homes or community-based settings. Home and community-based services (HCBS) through the CIH waiver allow flexibility in providing the supports necessary to help individuals gain and maintain optimum levels of self-determination and community integration.
